We are based entirely in the UK, with our servers located in a data centre just outside London.

We support a wide-range of server-side languages: PHP 5.3, MySQL 5, Ruby on Rails, Python and Perl 5.8. Each account also comes with full GD Graphics, ImageMagick 5+ and cURL support, as well as Server Side Includes (SSI) and Site-Wide CGI support

Our small team has a wide range of knowledge and is dedicated to responding to all enquiries as quickly as possible. Most issues are dealt with within 24 hours and in most cases you can expect a reply much sooner than this.
History
Anvil Hosting was began in 2008 as part of a business and enterprise scheme at Sheffield Hallam University. The original team of 6 set out to deliver a personalised, local and afforable web hosting service to students at the University - as well as the wider personal and business community.
In 2009 two partners took the up reins, and we have been going from strength to strength ever since.
